Graduate Fellowships in Philosophy of Biology: The Duke University Center for
Philosophy of Biology announces the availability of up to three National Science
Foundation Sponsored Graduate Fellowships in the philosophy of biology. These
fellowships pay full tuition and fees plus a stipend of $ 15 K.

Interested students should apply for graduate admission to the Philosophy or the
Biology Department at Duke,  explaining their interests and qualifications, and
providing a sample of written work. Full application directions and forms are
available from the Duke University Graduate School Web Site.

NSF Philosophy of Biology Fellows will work with faculty and post-docs in the
Center, undertake the graduate certificate in philosophy of biology,  and
participate in shaping and delivering the annual Duke Philosophy of Biology
Spring Conference.
