CALL FOR PAPERS

150TH. ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF ON THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES AND 
200TH. ANNIVERSARY OF CHARLES DARWIN'S BIRTH

In 2009, the Spanish philosophy journal TEOREMA will publish a special 
issue to celebrate the 150th. anniversary of the initial publication of ON 
THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES and the 200th. anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth. 
TEOREMA welcomes submissions of original papers dealing with historical, 
epistemological, methodological, sociological, ethical, and other aspects 
of Darwin's work and Darwinism. Book reviews and critical notices of recent 
relevant publications are also welcome. 

The guest editor of this special issue will be Andres Moya, Professor of 
Genetics, Head of Cavanilles Institute on Biodiversity and Evolutionary 
Biology, University of Valencia, Spain.

Papers must be written in English or Spanish, and should not exceed 15 
double-spaced A-4 pages (or 6.000 words). For the presentations of their 
manuscripts, authors are requested to adhere to the details that can be

Notification of intent to submit, including subject matter, will be greatly 
appreciated as it will assist with the coordination and planning of the 
special issue. Authors must submit their papers both in electronic and 
paper formats (three copies).
