Science Through Stories was created by Risasch
Hello all, I'm interested in organizing a session based around scientific storytelling. That could involve scientists who want to tell their research through a narrative (or any more artistic and less traditional) format, researchers who want to discuss the value of using literary or storytelling methods to promote and discuss science, or people who want to discuss histories of how (pseudo-)scientific stories have shaped broader cultural understandings of and attitudes towards science. Anything goes, really! Please get in touch if you're interested or have related ideas.

Hi,
Interesting proposal.
You might want to approach Luis Felipe Eguiarte eguia003@umn.edu
He is finishing his PhD in Minnesota on topics related to science fiction. (Example of a talk of his: "Julian Huxley: 'If I were a dictator', Technocracy in his popular writing and science fiction.") Just a thought.
