ISHPSSB2021 Registration Grants

Grant Application Deadline:  April 15, 2021

Participants in ISHPSSB 2021 may apply for a $100 grant subsidizing conference registration, from either the National Science Foundation (grant no. 1656206) or from the ISHPSSB.  Please do not apply for both; contact Laura Perini if you have any questions about which grant to apply for: Laura.perini@pomona.edu

Applicants must register for the conference before applying for a registration subsidy.

 

NSF Grant Eligibility

  • You must participate in and register for ISHPSSB 2021 (e.g. present a paper or poster, etc.)

  • You must be a graduate student, independent scholar, or recent PhD graduate (within the last five years).  Emeritus scholars should apply as independent scholars.

  • You must be either a U.S. citizen or affiliated with a U.S. institution.

  • You must be a member of ISHPSSB

ISHPSSB Registration Grant Eligibility

  • You must participate in and register for ISHPSSB 2021 (e.g. present a paper or poster, etc.)

  • In general, those eligible for the NSF Grant are not eligible for the ISHPSSB Grant.

  • Those eligible for ISHPSSB Registration Grants must be either:

    • A graduate student, recent PhD graduate (within the last five years), independent scholar, or emeritus;

    • or a conference participant who paid the full Academic Rate ($200) in registering for the conference and is in need of financial assistance. (In the application form there will be a question about professional status; please choose "none of the above".)

  • You must be a member of ISHPSSB
